Geoffrey Wightman Park

Geoffrey Wightman Park was named in remembrance of a local resident. It is a small residential park that provides a connection through the neighbourhood. Making the park accessible… respecting key legacy features including the much loved “zip-line”… dealing with storm water problems… working around the existing trees… a few challenges!

The new play equipment compliments the trees and small woodlot. A new (and safety code compliant!) zip-line was sourced and takes advantage of the natural slope in the park. Accessible park furniture provides vantage spots and a place to rest in this tranquil park.
