A new neighbourhood park on the on edge of the City… a wind-fall suseptible remnant forest on the edge of a stormwater management pond and ravine… Tulip Tree Park needed to provide a transition to nature along with some active play and much needed community recreation.

Custom natural play features including wobble logs, boulder climber and chinning bars were blended with manufactured “nature inspired” play equipment. A loggy sandbox and wooden stage provide accessible opportunities for fine motor skill development and social play.

A trail with paving stones embossed with images of wetland creatures leads to the forest.
